Gold: I had stressed this morning to keep an eye on Gold and, in particular, the $1,350 level. This has been broken now and I''' be watching to see if it can hold above this level:
NB: I am travelling this afternoon and will be away until Sunday. Updates will be brief and less frequent.
TS signal:
AUD/NZD: still moving in the right direction for now but be careful around NZD data tomorrow. Also, the A/U might get some support at the 0.89 level that might slow the move here, especially whilst the NZD waits for tomorrow's data:
A/U: still falling but the 0.89 is not too far below:
NB: I am travelling this afternoon and will be away until Sunday. Updates will be brief and less frequent.
Indices: Still not much movement here:
USDX:
EURX:
S&P500: the lack of positive news has undermined a bit of confidence and meant that stocks have slipped:
30 min: choppy action but a signal to short could have been traded here:
Daily: a bearish engulfing candle:
Ichimoku: no significant shift evident here yet:
Gold: still trading just under the $1,350 level. A break and hold above this level would be quite bullish:
TS Signal: AUD/NZD still the only signal:
Other FX: no new TS signal noted here yet:
E/U: chopping above the 61.8% fib support:
E/J: has slipped below the 143 level but with little momentum and hence no TS signal. I'm looking for a test of the 140.5 level which was the 61.8% fib break:
A/U: a TS signal formed up BUT price is above the 4hr Cloud and in the daily Cloud and hence is not valid. I've noted it though with an arrow on the chart. Also of note, price isn't too far from the major support of the 0.89 level. Any break and hold below this level though would interest me:
Cable: not going too far. The monthly 200 EMA is just above current price:
Kiwi: still choppy as it trades under major resistance of a monthly trend line. Lots of news for NZD tomorrow that might get this pair moving:
EUR/AUD: a new signal here BUT not supported by Ichimoku and hence not valid. It has been trying hard to get going though and is holding above the support of the monthly 200 EMA which is also a major level for this pair:
GBP/AUD: choppy:
